Originally from Yorkshire, I studied printed textiles at Chelsea School of Art, gradually moving towards embroidery when I found it could satisfy mine and my niece’s passion for sequins, sparkly bits and anything fairy like. Now I have 3 children of my own; a BMXing surfer, a ballet dancing mermaid and a skate boarding rock star who provide unlimited inspiration, along with some great friends who give me plenty of ideas and encouragement over coffee and cake.
